Spring Gathering ’26: Rise Up

Jesus tells us that, “unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone” (John 12:24). But when it is surrendered to Him, it produces much fruit. This spring, we gather to abide in this truth—believing that God brings growth, strength, and new life from what we yield to Him.

Sheologie invites you to join us for Rise Up, an evening designed to encourage and equip women to live with conviction and courage, firmly rooted in Scripture. 

On Tuesday, April 28, we’re gathering for a powerful night of worship with special guest Sarah Reeves, an uplifting teaching from Lenya Heitzig, and connection that calls women into deeper faith and purpose. Through worship and honest, faith-filled conversation, we will explore what it means to reflect God’s character in our homes by cultivating peace, wisdom, and faith, and obediently stewarding what God has entrusted to us—right where we are.

Rise Up is designed to help women live with integrity, courage, and purpose, no matter their role, title, or season. You’ll be encouraged to embrace your unique calling in your home, workplace, church, or community as you follow God’s lead to build a Christ-centered life and walk forward with renewed confidence and clarity.

Come as you are. Come expectant. What God plants in the midst of your surrender, He is faithful to multiply. We can’t wait to rise with you.

Critical Thinking and Logic: How to Avoid Being Deceived

In a culture overflowing with spiritual noise, half-truths, and “Christian-sounding” messages, discernment is essential. This workshop with Christian apologist Melissa Dougherty is designed to help women become deeply grounded in biblical truth so they can recognize deception, stand firm in their faith, and bear lasting fruit in their lives, churches, and communities. Melissa is an author and speaker known for her clear, Scripture-centered approach to today’s most pressing cultural and theological issues. A live Q&A will provide space for thoughtful dialogue and real questions, making this a powerful and equipping experience for women who want to stay anchored in God’s Word in an ever-shifting world.

You’ll walk away with practical tools for critical thinking, Scripture-rooted clarity, and confidence to speak truth in love without fear, confusion, or compromise. Jesus’ greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart—and mind.

Rise Up in Your Home

Join Michelle Schroff for this meaningful and encouraging workshop created for women from every walk of life, reminding us that home is more than just a place: It is a sacred space of influence, stewardship, and spiritual formation. As a wife of thirty years, the proud mother of ten children, and a passionate advocate for the children of New Mexico, Michelle will share the wisdom she’s gathered through faith, wisdom, and authenticity.

Rooted in Scripture, this session will explore what it means for women to reflect God’s character in their homes as they cultivate peace and faith while faithfully stewarding what God has entrusted to them. Through honest conversation and biblical truth, participants will be encouraged to build a Christ-centered life while embracing their unique calling in their current season of life while graciously addressing the expectations and pressures surrounding homemaking, relationships, and responsibility, helping free women from comparison and encouraging them to walk in freedom and confidence.

You’ll leave encouraged, equipped, and confident to rise up and live out your calling with grace, purpose, and faithfulness—trusting that God is at work in and through your home.

Rise Up in Your Workplace

This practical workshop is designed to help women live with integrity, courage, and purpose in their work regardless of role, title, or season. Join Heather Philpot-Pepe, a DC–based leader who has navigated high-impact, high-pressure environments across the nonprofit, political, and public affairs sectors, as she brings both professional insight and faith-centered encouragement to the conversation.

Through a moderated discussion, Heather will guide participants through common lies women often believe about work, success, and influence, while pointing to biblical truths that anchor identity and worth beyond performance. Drawing from her experience working in spaces where conviction, clarity, and discernment matter deeply, she will share practical wisdom to help women recognize cultural pressures surrounding ambition, productivity, and identity and respond with confidence grounded in faith.

Rise Up in Your City

Have you ever asked yourself, “What can I actually do to help? How can I make a difference in my community?” Join Tracy Rodden, Executive Director of Feed NM Kids, as she shares her own experience as a food-insecure child and explore how you can put your faith into action in real time. ‘Rise Up in Your City” is more than a workshop. It is an invitation to step into God’s heart for the children in your own community.

Participants will engage in a hands-on service experience by packing snack bags during the workshop itself, and leave encouraged and equipped with practical next steps, simple ways to involve your family, and clear opportunities to make a tangible difference right where you live.

Come ready to rise up and be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing nourishment, dignity, and hope to children across our city and surrounding communities.

Sheologie Director

Madison was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a hopeless sinner saved by His sweet grace. Her passion is to see other women's lives transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sheologie changed her life, and now her prayer is that every woman, no matter their age, finds purpose, belonging, friendship, and their own God-given identity here. Her heart is to minister and love on every woman she crosses paths with. Madison loves walking through gardens and spending time with her soon-to-be husband, Landan. She enjoys trying new coffee shops, and brunching with her friends and family. Madison's office door is always open for a quick "hello", a SoPo coffee run, for prayer, and anything in between.

Kayla Maria was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. She is creative, and delights in photography and social media because she gets to honor the Lord through her skills. Kayla has a heart for youth and women, especially those who feel purposeless, because she was once that girl who had no purpose. She believes in loving all the lost. She spends her free time rock climbing, traveling, and just hanging out with friends.

In her free time, Chloe enjoys playing board games, building Legos, hiking, and spending time with her husband.

Rayleen was born in Las Vegas, Nevada but raised in Albuquerque, NM. She has a passion for seeing woman grow in their relationship with the Lord through His love and mercy. Her goal is to use her God-given gifts of empathy, kindness, and spiritual sensitivity to plant the seed of God's perfect love in the hearts of woman who are lost, broken, or who are struggling to obtain a relationship with the Lord. Rayleen finds joy in spending time outdoors to admire the beauty of nature by discovering new hiking trails or camping with her family.
