When It Seems Impossible – Week Three: Behold Big Problems

When you focus on the giants in your way, then you’ll be sure to stumble (Num. 13:32-33). When you focus on God, then giants will surely tumble. (Num. 14:9).

Behold Big Problems

Have you taken it to the Lord? James 5 says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much”. The giants that we face in our day-to-day, spiritual warfare, and obstacles have been defeated by calling on the Lord time and time again (James 5:13, Kames 5:14-16, James 5:15, Mark 2:3-5, Luke 22:31-32). Edmond Hillary says this, “It is not the mountain that we conquer, but ourselves”. You can determine the size of one’s faith by the smallness or bigness of the thing he takes on. So let this encourage you. The Lord is with you, (Josh.14:12), and instead of trying to minimize the problem, maximize the power of His presence. If it is a lack of motivation you are facing, or maybe a mountain staring back at you, then here is your reminder: everyone must climb a mountain one step at a time.

Reflect

Ask yourself: How long have you prayed for something before God blessed you with it? Was it one year? 10 years? Or more?

Meditate on Mark 2:3-5.
